Genshin Impact: The Arataki Gang’s Big Drumfest begins

Since last week there is the somewhat delayed update 2.7 in Genshin Impact and with it some new content. Today, June 13th, “The big and spectacular drum festival of the almighty Arataki Gang” starts, a new, time-limited event about Oni Itto and his gang.

The action takes you to Inazuma with the Arataki Gang – including leader Itto and the new ninja fighter Kuki Shinobu. The event runs until July 4th and you need at least adventure level 30 for it. You must also have completed the quest “The Escape from Ritou” within Archon Contract Chapter II – Act 1 “The Immovable God and the Eternal Utopia”.

After a short story part, you can then play a beat mini-game with 7 different rhythms that are unlocked daily and get rewards for doing so. This includes primordial rock, improvement ore, Mora, but also Itto’s drum as a special item. There are also different difficulty levels to choose from in the mini-games.

You can also after graduation the action assemble your own tunes that you can then have others play as a challenge. But that’s only possible if you’ve already mastered your own rhythm well enough, so you can’t just present the community with a piece that’s as difficult as possible, you have to be able to do it.
