New Nintendo Direct is reportedly coming in late June

A new Nintendo Direct is reportedly scheduled for late June.

During a Twitch stream with a reaction to the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Alanah Pearce, former journalist turned writer at Sony Santa Monica, said a new Nintendo Direct is coming on June 29, 2022.

A specific date

Pearce was asked by a viewer if a Nintendo Direct had been announced. To which she replied, “No, but I believe there will be a Nintendo Direct on the 29th.”

“I don’t know if this has been announced yet. You guys heard it here first. Let me check. […] I wrote it down… June 29th, yes. June 29, Nintendo Direct.”

“Technically it’s not a leak because Nintendo didn’t tell me anything and it’s my decision,” she added. “But it’s also like I’m not leaking anything that’s inside, which I think sucks.”

As VGC notes, this corresponds approximately to what one has heard oneself. According to the site, Nintendo is planning a new Direct issue this month.

A new Nintendo Direct has not yet been announced. But it is widely assumed that there will be.
