Capcom has the DLC The Winters’ expansion for Resident Evil Village (in the test, grade 9.0) announced. The expansion will be released on October 28, 2022 and brings the following innovations into play:
- A new mode is introduced in which you now experience the story in the third person perspective.
- New levels and more playable characters will be added to Mercenary Mode: iconic antagonist Lady Dimitrescu, magnetic-powered Karl Heisenberg, and series veteran Chris Redfield.
- The new story Shadows of Rose is set 16 years after the action of the story campaign. Baby Danny – er Rose – is now a teenager struggling with her malign powers. In order to free herself from her curse, she enters the consciousness of the Megamyzet. You control Rose (necessarily in third-person view) through a nightmare world composed of old memories.
Simultaneously with The Winters’ expansion, Resident Evil Village will also be released as a Gold Edition including DLC on October 28, 2022. The postponed free multiplayer title should also be released on this day RE: verses appear.
