Diablo Immortal: Hide chat – here’s how

Great challenges await you in Diablo Immortal – but you can easily defeat the chat!

Diablo Immortal is not only the first mobile offshoot of the series, but also wants to make the devilish hack & slay an MMO. In addition to all kinds of group activities, this also includes the usual social features such as chat.

However, many players quickly want to turn off the chat. On the one hand, this is due to the fact that not only friendly people are up to mischief in Diablo Immortal and sometimes attract attention with insulting or racist comments. On the other hand, there are many of you who simply want to be left alone while playing.

How to disable chat

While chat cannot be completely hidden, you can easily mute any channels you don’t want to read:

• First you navigate to the main menu using the symbol with the three lines in the upper right corner
• You can access the settings via the cog wheel at the top
• Under the item “Chat” you can select the channels that should be displayed in your chat, along with some other settings. For example, if you deactivate the items “World”, “Zone”, “Find a group” and “Adventurer”, your chat in the solo game will remain largely free of messages from others.

These steps not only save you corrosive and annoying messages due to the missing messages in the chat window it even disappears automatically after a while to the bottom edge of the screen. In addition to the desired peace and quiet, you also get a better overview.

Since these settings in Diablo Immortal only affect the respective character, you have to repeat the steps for all others if necessary.

If you later want to read messages in the hidden groups without showing them again, you can do so simply by clicking on the chat. Then a separate window will open in which you can read and write in each channel.

With a click on the chat you open a separate window with all channels.
