Pokémon GO: Trading Card Game Crossover Event starts tomorrow – All Shinys and Bonuses

On June 16, 2022, the crossover event for the trading card game will start in Pokémon GO. You can look forward to lots of spawns and bonuses. We at MeinMMO will show you which new Pokémon, spawns, shinys and bonuses will be available.

What is this event? The Pokémon TCG and Pokémon GO celebrate their collaboration. From July 1st there will be a special Pokémon GO edition as an expansion for the trading cards. Of course, a corresponding crossover event in the mobile game should not be missing on this occasion.

You can expect numerous spawns and shinys as well as one or the other bonus. Additionally, Shrimp, Tectass, and Pikachu make their debuts with a Pokémon TCG cap. And you can also look forward to the return of Shiny Meltan.

When does the crossover event start? The trading card event will start on June 16, 2022 at 10:00 local time and will run until June 30, 2022 at 20:00 local time.

All spawns and shinys for the crossover event

There will once again be plenty of Pokémon to catch during the TCG Crossover Event. You can encounter them in the wild or compete against them in raids. The two Alola Pokémon, Rice Louse and Tectass, celebrate their debut in the game.

There will also be a new costumed Pokémon: Pikachu with a special Pokémon TCG cap. This blue event cap will then also wear it on the corresponding trading card (via pokemon.com).

Rice Louse and Tectass – The new Pokémon for the crossover event

With the start of the crossover event, you can meet Rice Louse and his advancement Tectass for the first time in Pokémon GO. Both are from the 7th generation of games and belong to the bug and water types.

You can recognize the small Alola Pokémon by its silver-grey body and long feelers. Visually, it is reminiscent of a kind of silverfish. Its further development, on the other hand, is significantly larger and stands on two legs. Tectass also has the typical silver-grey scale-like body again.

During the event, you can encounter Rice Louse in the wild, in raids, and through rewards. You can only get Tectass by evolving Rice Louse. You need 400 candies for this. But Reißlaus will not be in the game as Shiny for the time being.

All crossover event bonuses

In addition to the many spawns and shinys, you can also look forward to one or the other bonus for the trading card event. It is particularly worth igniting the miracle box during the event period, which is why you should wait until Thursday to open it.
