Although Ubisoft has already taken action, for example by exchanging management staff and openly commenting on the allegations, many employees within the company feel that these measures are not sufficient.

When could the announcement come? The countdown to the Assassin’s Creed celebrations ends with the first Assassin’s Creed in September, but has no official date. However, there is an option on the merch page to indicate that new merch will be released on September 5th to coincide with the final part of the anniversary event. That could mean that on this day we see the announcement of an Assassin’s Creed remake or remaster.

But of course that wasn’t all. To mark the big anniversary, you can play Assassin’s Creed Origins for free this weekend, for example. The game is currently included in the Game Pass anyway, but you can still play it for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S until June 20th.
