On the Enfant Terrible YouTube channel, the owner muses about how some games would look with the new Unreal Engine 5. The results are sometimes very impressive.

A new game in the vein of Alien Isolation? A sequel to Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne or a new Fallout? That would be really interesting announcements, which unfortunately are still a long way off. Before you bury your head in your lap in despair because of this circumstance, it is better to take a look at the videos of the YouTuber Enfant Terrible. Because his channel shows how he would imagine these games in Unreal Engine 5.

Dark Souls 4 in Unreal Engine 5

The YouTuber seems to be very familiar with the engine, as in all the examples shown here he succeeds in presenting several large game areas and impressions from his fantasy creations. This not only requires a lot of work, but also professional handling of the tools offered by the engine’s huge construction kit. The mood of the templates is captured almost perfectly and amazes the viewers.

Imposing castles, wood-panelled interiors with waving curtains, gloomy dungeons and fantastic views of large parts of the imaginary game world are evidence of the YouTuber’s skills. On the other hand, there are hardly any enemies or other animated objects, and if something like this is seen, it becomes clear that Enfant Terrible still has a little catching up to do when it comes to animations. Nonetheless, his videos are absolutely worth seeing.
