AMC does not rule out another new series about the universe of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

It is not ruled out that a third series on the Breaking Bad universe can be produced, but for now you will have to wait, and a lot.

Time flies, especially when you can enjoy series of the quality of Breaking Bad or Better Call Saula last series that is very close to its final conclusion, and with it the doubts of the fans about whether its creators are going to dare to launch a third series that revolves around this universe, and at the moment it seems that there is nothing to short term.

However, if its creators change their minds, from AMC they are ready to accept a new proposal, and that is that in a new interview with Varietythe president of AMC Studios, Dan McDermott, has confirmed that while there are currently no plans for a third series in this universe, the door is always open for more.

“I can say that if I could do something to encourage Vince and Peter to continue in this universe, I would.”, McDermott himself tells Variety. “I think you’d have to ask them, but the door is always open and I long for the day my phone rings and both or our friends at Sony call me to say they have another series going on about this universe.”.

And it is that a universe as prolific as the one that revolves around Breaking Bad and its prequel Better Call Saul, has millions of people, potential followers of new series, and that is practically a guaranteed success that, in view of the competition that exists in streaming services, it could give a huge advantage if one were to get such a hypothetical exclusive.

Counting both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, we have up to 123 episodes divided into 12 seasons, in addition to the Netflix original movie called “El Camino”, along with 51 total Primetime Emmy nominations between them.

And it is that after several seasons, Better Call Saul will finally cross directly with Breaking Bad, where stars like Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return to repeat their roles, something highly anticipated by the public.
