WoW: It’s now easier to report ads in Group Finder
The WoW developers will make it easier for you to report annoying ads in the group finder. New categories are intended to ensure more accurate tickets since patch 9.2.5, while a small change speeds up the reporting process.
Advertising in the group finder is a real annoyance for many WoW fans because it makes it difficult for players to find real groups for specific activities or to quickly distinguish them from paid runs. With Patch 9.2.5, the developers introduced the option of reporting such advertising via a new ticket category, but in practice this turned out to be rather cumbersome. But that has now changed.
Fight against illegal advertising? Now with one click
Blizzard had with WoW (buy now ) Patch 9.2.5 accept a so-called “social contract” that obliges players to behave friendly towards one another. In this context, the option to report advertising in the group finder via a separate ticket category also came into play. However, this required several clicks.

From now on, reporting advertising in the group finder is much easier: As some fans have found out, you can now simply right-click on the offending entry in the group finder and click directly on the … button. You will then automatically send a ticket to Blizzard and block this group in the LFG tool.
We think that being able to report unwanted advertising in the group finder quickly and easily is a step in the right direction. It remains to be seen how effective this measure will prove to be in the end. But we want to know what you think of the reporting system: have you used it yourself? Do you find it comfortable? Write us your opinion in the comments!
