Wow ok just mixing up the PS5 colorful side plates is a great idea!

Since this weekend, the living rooms of all PS5 fans have become a little more colourful. Sony has now released the long-awaited colored side panels, which can be ordered on their own website.

With a total of five colors to choose from, the black and white console can now be customized however you like. A PS5 owner now shows his creative idea and how you can customize your console even more.

Mix and match PS5 side panels easily

On Twitter, mrpyo1 shows what brilliant idea he had. Instead of decorating his PS5 console in just one color, he simply took two sets of side panels and combined them. His console now adorns the colors Starlight Blue and Nova Pink at the same time:

Matching this, mrpyo1 puts his two controllers next to it, each of which corresponds in color to one of the two side parts. The design may look unusual, but we think it’s pretty cool.

The only drawback is the price: If you also find the idea interesting, you can theoretically easily imitate it yourself. There is one problem, however, because you can’t just buy one of the side plates individually or mix and match different colors, you have to buy two complete color sets (if you don’t want to use the white plates that the PS5 already comes with.) You will quite expensive, since a color set already costs almost 55 euros and you need two. Of course you are lucky if you have friends with whom you can simply swap pages.

Where can I order the side parts? The two color variants Midnight Black and Cosmic Red are already available from various retailers. The PS5 console covers in Galatic Purple, Starlight Blue and Nova Pink are exclusive to the PS shop available. After that, they will also be released for other dealers.

This results in a total of 21 different color combinations if you add the standard white color of the PS5 and the simple color variants without additional mixing. This allows you to create very individual PS5 consoles that you will not find in other apartments so quickly.
