Buy PS5: Ticker on 20.06. – Weekend bundle still available

Sony’s PS5 continues to be in high demand. But where is the current supply? We show you all developments around the console in the live ticker.

Update from 06/20/2022, 06:55 a.m: A new week is dawning and it’s time again: New day, new luck – good morning PS5 hunters!

First off, the PS5 bundle at Alternate from the weekend is still available. Here is the link to the shop:

The offer may seem a bit expensive at first glance, but Alternate is considered a reputable dealer and the headset included in the bundle alone costs 279 euros. In addition, there is the media remote control with 30 euros and the PS5 Digital Edition with 399 euros, so that the total bundle price is almost 710 euros. That also roughly corresponds to the price that Alternate charges here. So you won’t be ripped off here.

But where else should you keep your eyes open today if you want to grab a PS5? Well, initially with a focus on a few small and medium-sized PS5 providers such as Müller, MediMax or Euronics. Despite Sony’s generosity in terms of fresh supplies, these have not sold the PS5 for a long time and could in principle drop at any time without warning.

You should also keep a closer eye on MediaMarkt and Saturn from today. There was only recently a local pre-order campaign in numerous branches, but in the past, comparable campaigns were followed by an online drop one or the other time. MMS should not be completely written off in June.

Also interesting, if not necessarily today, could be Amazon DE and PlayStation Direct this week. 4 new PS5 bundles have recently been listed on Amazon, but have not yet been sold. And PS Direct, Sony’s in-house PS5 factory outlet, has consistently held multiple sales over the past few months, but only one so far in June. So it’s quite possible that something else will happen there this month – maybe even in the week that has just started.

In short: There are still a few potential candidates for supplies, so June and the new week will remain exciting for PS5 hunters.

Update from 06/19/2022, 4:20 p.m: Currently you can buy the PS5 at Alternate. A bundle of the Digital Edition has appeared there, which also includes the media remote control and a headset. The price for the bundle is quite fair, because the headset alone costs almost 300 euros.

Smaller retailers in particular surprise with quite large bundles that are available for much longer. But where can you find the PS5 at the moment? Buy PS5: Ticker on the console situation – where is the supply?

Where was the last replenishment? The last drop at a major retailer was on June 15th. Amazon sold first in other European countries, then OTTO and finally the play grotto. The drop at OTTO was particularly popular and sold out within minutes. Here is an overview of all the latest drops from the PS5 retailers:

Which retailers are particularly hot? The focus is currently back on the really big retailers. MediaMarkt and Saturn last sold the PS5 online more than a month ago. This is very unusual, especially in the current console situation. So it’s quite likely that there will be a drop here soon.

At Amazon there is a console firework almost every week. Amazon sells the PS5 in numerous European countries, with shipping to Germany being possible. In the coming days there could also be another drop at Amazon Germany, because four new bundles have appeared here that have not yet been sold. A drop in the near future is therefore considered likely.

There are also many smaller retailers. Alternate, Spielegrotte or GameStop have repeatedly sold the PS5 in recent weeks. Euronics, Müller or Medimax haven’t sold any consoles for a long time. A drop cannot be ruled out here either.
