Season 4 of CoD Warzone starts the day after tomorrow with a new map – all information in 3 minutes

Call of Duty: Warzone goes into its 4th joint season with CoD: Vanguard on June 22nd at 6:00 p.m. The season brings a new map into play and changes the large map Caldera extensively. The most important information about the start, update and content can be found here in a short overview.

During the live seasons, the free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone regularly brings new content into the game, bringing a breath of fresh air to the shooter.

We are currently approaching Season 4 / 2022, which is all about map innovations. So there is a completely new map: Fortune’s Keep. It’s supposed to be about the size of Rebirth Island. In addition, there are generous changes on Caldera.

Warzone: Season 4 – Fortune’s Keep and Caldera Clearcut

What are the highlights of the season? The map innovations are the focus of Season 4:

• New map: Fortune’s Keep
• Map rotation is introduced
• Adjustments on Caldera

With Fortune’s Keep, Warzone gets a second small map, about the size of Rebirth Island, maybe a little bigger. Also, Warzone is introducing map rotation for the first time – Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep will both remain in the game.

How the map rotation works has not yet been clarified in detail. At the start of the season, both maps could remain in the game for the time being. By mid-season at the latest, however, Rebirth should disappear for a short time.

Season 4 also has innovations in store for fans of Caldera. There are many new micro locations to fill the map and vegetation on the island is said to be reduced by 50%. Over a dozen of the well-known locations are also to be adapted.

What happens at the start of the season? In addition to the adjustments to the maps, Warzone announced additional content:

• Fresh Battle Pass with 100 levels
• LMG “UGM-8” / SMG “Marco 5”
• Contract: Black Market Supply Run
• In-Match Event: Cash Extraction
• Live Event: Mercenaries of Fortune
• Equipment: EMP grenade
• Loot Mode: Golden Plunder

With the new map rotation, Warzone fulfills a great player wish. After Fortune’s Keep was announced, many players feared that Rebirth would disappear entirely.

In addition to the above adjustments, you can also expect changes to the weapon meta. In the last few seasons, the developers have always worked diligently here – we expect the same again at the start of Season 4.
