Twitch streamer shoots €15,000 in Diablo Immortal, finds miracle item, permanently deletes character

Twitch streamer Quin69 attempted an experiment to find a perfect gem in Diablo Immortal. After spending €15,000 on Boosted Runs, he finally nailed the gem. But the 31-year-old then permanently deleted his character in Diablo Immortal and uninstalled the game. He urged his fans to do the same.

This is how he found the stone: At almost exactly 25,000 New Zealand dollars, just over €15,000, the time had come: Quin69 found the stone of his dreams.

In an ecstatic moment, he burst into screaming fits when he realized what he had found.

“Everyone Should Quit Diablo Immortal – Delete All Your Accounts”

This is how it ended: That same stream, Quin69 decided he’d had enough of Diablo Immortal. He deleted his level 60 monk that he had put so much time and money into and uninstalled the game.

To this he said:

“Fuck Blizzard. Fuck this dog poop game. Fuck that crap Everyone should stop this. Delete your accounts! Let’s get out of here – I don’t have time for this nonsense.”

The angry Twitch streamer, who stuck his middle finger into the camera, continued: Diablo 2 Resurrected can stay on his computer, Diablo 3 is already on thin ice, but Diablo Immortal has to go.

Protest by playing intensely and spending money

This is behind it: Quin69 has 114 hours on Diablo for the last few weeks – now he turns to The Quarry (via gamepro).

Diablo Immortal has a special position simply because it comes from Blizzard, a historically “good developer” in the PC sector that has set standards for many years. Diablo itself is considered one of the cornerstones of PC gaming.

That’s why Diablo Immortal is now so intensely viewed and eyed.

Some Twitch streamers have already dealt intensively with the Pay2Win mechanics of Diablo Immortal, but decided to gamble the game intensively and invest money, i.e. take full traffic instead of boycotting it.
