Forza Horizon 5: Series 9 Update delivers numerous improvements

Today the Series 9 update for Forza Horizon 5 is released and brings with it some bug fixes.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 will be available to download on Tuesday, June 21st on Xbox, Windows and Steam. The Festival Playlist rewards and content can be unlocked from June 23rd to July 20th.

Series 9 introduces the ability to Horizon Stories in co-op mode to play, with a total of up to six players supported. In co-op play, the convoy leader may play any Horizon story available to him. The highest score achieved in the group applies to all participants. So even if some players don’t reach the goal, those who do complete the mission for everyone.

Players who complete a Horizon story in co-op will find that mission is already marked as completed once they unlock it in their playthrough.

From series 9 it will be a new one Forza EV Monthly Rivals event where drivers can set their best lap times. This new Forza EV Rivals complements the existing Rivals monthly challenge.

The Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 Update includes numerous adjustments that improve the Forza Horizon 5 gaming experience. This includes fixing an issue that prevented full 12-player convoys from starting events. A bug fix eliminates darkened hood and bumper views that occurred when switching camera views. Another bug fix affects the daily challenges in the Festival playlist that either failed to complete or lost progress after a reboot.

The Forza Horizon 5 update also prevents a Speed ​​Zone exploit where increased speeds could be achieved through Photo Mode. Also fixed an issue that caused the wrong vehicle class to be used in a race if players were idle prior to the start of the event.

The “It Just Works” award now properly unlocks once players complete the Vehicle Mastery skill tree for the 1963 Volkswagen Beetle. On top of that, the rank in the Creative Hub increases as intended.

For players with large car collectionsFor those who want to easily auction off duplicate cars or remove them from their garage, a new filter option has been introduced to the car selection screen which, when activated, will only show the cars that you own duplicates of.

In Series 9, the list of officially supported subtitle languages ​​in Forza Horizon 5 has been updated to include Danish, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, and European Portuguese. Playground Games is also expanding the VO to include European Spanish, Italian and Korean.
