While Sucker Punch has never officially confirmed work on a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, given the title’s success, it wouldn’t be surprising if a sequel were to appear. There have already been several references to Ghost of Tsushima 2 in the past, which are condensed with the latest information discovered.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 is looking for battle hardened people

On its in-house job page, Sucker Punch has posted new vacancies online for experienced developers to apply for. According to the posts after a Technical Combat Designer and one Senior Combat Designer searched. The designers should be familiar with the combat systems of older Sucker Punch titles so that they can strengthen the team.

What is to be worked on? Both designers are responsible for the fights in the new Sucker Punch title. They should create and elaborate the skills of the players and opponents as well as the combat actions. This includes, among other things, the window of time that players have to parry attacks.

What speaks for Ghost of Tsushima 2? Another job posting for one Encounter designer, who is also said to be working on the new title’s combat system, reveals a little more details about the upcoming game. Possible multiplayer for Ghost of Tsushima 2

Although the game has not yet been officially announced, there are already some hints about the new Sucker Punch title. We could possibly expect an online multiplayer part, as Sucker Punch has in the past been looking for developers to create “spectacular” multiplayer.

Sucker Punch has already gained some experience in the multiplayer area with the Legends mode. It could be that Ghost of Tsushima 2’s online content will grow and we’ll be able to dive into even more multiplayer modes together with others.

Remember: This is just speculation. Sucker Punch may also be working on other titles unrelated to the Ghost of Tsushima IP. As soon as we get the first information about the new titles, you’ll get it on GamePro.

What changes would you make to Ghost of Tsushima’s combat system?
