Planet Zoo has both a new free update, and with the Planet Zoo: Conservation Pack get new content. With this DLC, Frontier Developments focuses on endangered animals.

The Conservation Pack gives you access to five new animals, including a vivarium animal. All new zoo residents are considered at least vulnerable in terms of conservation status. In addition, the pack offers 150 matching scenery objects and a new on-time scenario, which is through the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park was inspired.

You can look forward to the following animals:

  • Siamang
  • Przewalski’s horse
  • oryx
  • Axolotl (vivarium animal)
  • Amur leopard

On Steam the conservation pack costs just under ten euros.

In addition to the usual bug fixes, the free update also contains a number of new features worth mentioning. Animals, such as some wolf species and the siamang from the current DLC, will now also start howling if certain conditions are met. The majority of zoo residents will also be equipped with new sniffing behavior.

Likewise, the zoo visitors get new behavior. If they are more than 50 percent satisfied with their visit to the zoo, they will be tempted to take a group photo if they came to the zoo as a group. You can also expect a certain number of new items for the zoo itself and also for the enclosures.
