WoW Dragonflight: New expansion will be released in 2022!

The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight release date is a lot closer than we all thought. Blizzard is still announcing the release as 2022.

Quite unexpectedly, Blizzard just let a big cat out of the bag. The upcoming expansion “World of Warcraft: Dragonflight” will be released in the current year – ie 2022. This is evident from the details of the pre-order, which has now also started.

Where does the information come from? From the Official Battle.net Store. The next expansion Dragonflight can be pre-ordered there for a few minutes. The release information states that “Dragonflight will be available no later than December 31, 2022”. Blizzard is making a release promise for the current year!

How much does Dragon Flight cost? That depends on which version you want to order. As usual, there are three different versions to buy, which differ mainly in terms of content and price. The three versions are:

• Base Edition for €49.99
• Heroic Edition for €69.99
• Epic Edition for €89.99

So you can get the cheapest Dragonflight version for 50 euros, if you want more you have to pay more.

What’s in the different versions? The three versions have, in addition to the basic access to Dragonflight, some bonuses. Basically:

If you pre-purchase any version of Dragonflight, you will receive a bonus in-game pet, Drakks.

The Base Edition includes:

• The base game “Dragonflight”
• Access to the new race-class combo, Caller of the Dracthyr – possibly even before the release of the expansion (pre-patch).

The Heroic Edition includes:

• All content of the base edition
• A character boost to level 60
• The Entwined Dreamweaver Flying Mount
• The pet “Murkastrasza”

The Epic Edition includes:

• All Base and Heroic Edition content
• Timewalker’s Hearthstone Toy
• Diadem of the Spell-Keeper Head Transmogrification
• Wings of Awakening back transmogrification in 5 colors
• 30 days playing time
