Forza Horizon 5: Update finally brings story co-op and TAA to PC

Sifu with a real beating: Streamer Rudeism fights with his own motion controller

The racing game Forza Horizon 5 now has a comprehensive new update that adds an important feature: story co-op is now available for both PC and consoles. Technically, something has also changed in the computer version, which now includes a TAA option.

Unusually enough that this wasn’t possible at launch of the latest Forza Horizon game, there’s now a delayed option to play the racer’s story mode together.

Previously, if a host tried to start the story together, the team would simply be discarded. This now works on computer and Xbox with a group of up to 6 people.

There are also a few new features, improvements and bug fixes in terms of content – for example, problems and exploit possibilities within the online functions have been fixed and some of the vehicles have been readjusted. Among other things, this should already pave the way for the paid Hotwheels DLC, which will be released in July.

For those who experience Forza on the computer, this is not the whole content, because something has also happened on the technical level in the PC version: There is now the option to activate temporal anti-aliasing (TAA). to further improve graphics quality with low power consumption. This has not yet been supported in the game.

Full patch notes can be found on the official site to Forza Horizon.
