Because not only the view of the easier access to the hardest content of GW2 is the focus of this blog post. The developers have also recently made some QoL adjustments (Quality of Life), which are a lot of fun. From June 28, 2022 we can look forward to a wide variety of innovations. We illuminate them for you and reveal what made them so great.
No more broken gear in GW2
A real relic of the past is gear damage in Guild Wars 2. When our character dies, some of our gear gets damaged. At some point, this even ends in a completely destroyed piece of armor that does not provide any stat bonus or protection. Repairs used to cost money, but for a long time now damaged items have been able to be fixed free of charge to an anvil or using the instant repair canister shop item. In this respect, a pointless feature – the developers think so too. Because of this, there will be no more equipment damage starting June 28, 2022. To keep the Canisters and Anvils useful, they give a small bonus to Health and Defense that lasts for 12 hours.
Funny side effect: In the trading post is after this revelation Infinite Instant Repair Canister price increased from 500 gold to over 2500!
Where is the mouse? Oh there!
Guild Wars 2’s high-impact combat has been a visual issue for many players for years. Because in the turmoil you not only no longer recognize some opponents, you even lose sight of your own mouse pointer. Therefore, with the upcoming update, the developers are bringing into play the option to activate three contrast modes for the mouse – Disabled, Low and High. In this way you will then have a better overview of strikes, raids, WvW battles and meta-events!

No more merciless instance kicks
Who in Guild Wars 2 (buy now €49.95) in story instances fears one thing more than any boss fight: the limits of the instance! Exceeding the instance edge often causes a kick without much warning. That can also happen in a 40-minute story, which you can then do from the beginning. In End of Dragons, the developers have already ensured that players are simply pushed back into story territory, but starting June 28, 2022, this “soft instance boundary” system will be implemented in all instances.
