Hyenas: Multiplayer Shooter from Alien Isolation Makers Announced – News

Creative Assembly, the studio behind Alien isolation but also that Total War series, has announced a new multiplayer shooter. Contrary to speculation, it is not an offshoot in the Alien universe but a new brand.

Hyenas, so the title, a competitive first-person shooter in a dystopian SciFi setting revolves around a raid in “plunder ships” that bring usable luxury goods from the destroyed earth to Mars, the retreat of the billionaires who have fled. In teams of three against four other teams, you fight for the best loot and the fastest escape from the sometimes weightless space shopping malls.

Creative Assembly and publisher Sega assure that Hyenas should not contain any pay-to-win mechanics. The space shooter is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC, PS4/5, Xbox Series S and X, and Xbox One (X). Registration for the closed alpha test is available on the home page possible.
