iPhone 14: Leaks promise longer battery life

iPhone 14: Leaks promise longer battery life

from Jonathan Harsh
Good news for everyone who keeps struggling with the battery life of their smartphone. Apple’s next iPhone should not only have more efficient hardware installed, but also come with a larger battery.

There are new leaks about the iPhone 14. This time the rumors concern the battery of the new models. This is probably larger in two versions than in direct comparison to the iPhone 13:

  • iPhone 14: 3,279 mAh (instead of 3,227 mAh on the iPhone 13)
  • iPhone 14 Pro: 3,200 mAh (instead of 3,095 mAh on the iPhone 13 Pro)

This is an increase of 2 to 3.4 percent. Since the hardware will also be significantly more efficient than in the predecessor – keyword 5G modem and LTPO AMOLED display – we can expect a significantly longer runtime. And the iPhone 13 can already score with a decent battery life.

However, the leak of ShrimpApplePro Also that the battery of one of the Max models, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, will be reduced in size – from 4,323 mAh (iPhone 13 Pro Max) to 4,294 mAh. The cheaper iPhone 14 Max, on the other hand, should remain at 4,325 mAh like the iPhone 13 Max and would therefore have the largest battery in the new series. The more efficient Apple A16 Bionic processor is installed in the Pro models.

There are other rumors about the iPhone 14

As in previous years, in 2022 we again have a very good impression of the new iPhone generation, even before Apple publishes the first information. For example, the size of the iPhone 14 is probably already known, and unsurprisingly it’s roughly the same as last year’s model. On the other hand, there should be a big difference in the rear camera, which could offer a significantly better quality than the iPhone 13.
