The title was released on November 16, 2021 on the PC, the Playstation 4, the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One released. The title had previously been in Early Access for over two years. Surviving the Aftermath is the sequel to Surviving Mars, a strategy title with an equally apocalyptic scenario that we rated very highly. What’s in the first DLC?

In the first expansion, the studio’s focus is on cooperation. The players now have the opportunity to cooperate directly with various companies. There are also more than twelve new buildings to admire in this context.

As a new danger, the so-called bandit groups and beasts were brought into play. Also because of this threat, dealing with other societies in points such as trade or the creation of buildings now apparently plays a greater role. So-called covert missions also made it into the first expansion. These are elements such as theft, propaganda campaigns or simply espionage. Accordingly, failure in such a mission is fraught with severe consequences.
