How do I get the gift? To get the free item, you have to do the following:

  • Go to “Secret Gift” in the menu
  • Then click on “Receive via Internet”
  • Receive the mask at your home in Jubeldorf

There is a condition under which you can download the item. The Mystery Gift feature only unlocks during the main campaign. You must have played for around two hours to get the feature.

How much time do I have? The campaign starts now and runs until May 31, 2023. So you have about a year to secure the exclusive item.

No sign of DLCs and successors in sight

So far, Nintendo hasn’t announced a Direct as part of the failed E3, which will showcase new content for existing titles or even brand new games. So it’s unclear whether Pokémon Legends: Arceus will get new content after its free update.
