The new PS Plus has now also started in Germany and offers you a library of numerous games to download or stream in the Extra and Premium models. Before the launch, there was still talk of more than 740 titles. Sony has even exceeded this number – at least in theory, because many of the titles are not available at all.

More than 819 titles, but there are not hundreds of them here

If you look at Sony’s official Games and classics catalogue on, there is a huge number of games in it. A total of 819 according to our count and the list is not even complete, because titles like For the King and 428 Shibuya Scramble about still missing in it.

So, in theory, that’s a lot more than the 740 games promised, but don’t get too excited. There’s a small but important note at the bottom of the page: “Game availability varies by country/region. Please check the PlayStation Plus Hub on your console for the full list of all titles available in your country/region. “

This note applies to all games in the list that are marked with an asterisk and they are quite a few. Titles like The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Devil May Cry 4, God of War HD, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga or Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 are completely missing from us.

According to our count, this brings us to almost 680 titles. Of course, that’s not exactly small – even if the huge number says nothing about the quality of the individual games – but it’s also a lot less than the number given in the list. This should be particularly painful because there are some really good titles here that we won’t be able to enjoy, at least for the time being.
