The MMORPG Tower of Fantasy has been in beta here in the West since April. An event for pre-registration for the game has now started. Cool rewards await you there. The release is scheduled for 2022 on Steam, Epic and Mobile.

What is this MMORPG? Tower on Fantasy is a free anime MMORPG that focuses on a large, open game world that you can explore with your character. Visually, it’s reminiscent of a mix of Genshin Impact and the highly anticipated MMORPG Blue Protocol.

  • You follow a story on the planet Ada, which humans colonized in the future. The story is told through various quests.
  • The MMORPG dispenses with classes and instead lets you determine the style of play through armor and weapons.
  • Tower of Fantasy relies on an action-packed combat system in which you have to aim yourself. A highlight here is the “perfect dodge”. If you succeed, a dome is created in which enemies are temporarily frozen.
  • In the open world you can climb, swim, fly with jetpacks and destroy objects.
  • Dungeons, raids, PvP content and achievements await you in the endgame, of which you can complete up to 2,600.
  • An endgame weapon gacha system that works similarly to Genshin Impact weapons and characters.

Pre-register and a release in 2022

What is currently happening in Tower of Fantasy? In April, the MMORPG started its closed beta. This ran until the beginning of May. Most recently, another beta test took place from June 21st to 26th. This focused on the regions in South America and players who had not yet participated in the first beta should register first.

It is currently unclear whether there will be a beta in early July.

Because yesterday the pre-register for the release of Tower of Fantasy officially started. On the website you can pre-register for Steam, Epic Games, the App Store and the Play Store (via Tower Of Fantasy). The MMORPG offers crossplay between the mentioned platforms.

So far (as of June 27, 3:00 p.m.) over 150,000 people have registered. The developers give gifts depending on the number of early registrations. Gold, buff food and Nucleus beckon – the item used for the gacha mechanics.

The highest rewards are at 2.5 million pre-registrations. However, you will only receive the rewards if you also pre-register. After the release you have 180 days to redeem the reward.

When will Tower of Fantasy be released? The release should officially take place in the third quarter of 2022. So this applies to the months of July to September. However, there is no exact release date yet.
