EA’s Marvel game is said to be in development

The flood of upcoming Marvel games will probably be supplemented by another title. EA is said to be working on its own superhero game.

The iconic superhero troupe from the popular comic book publisher dominates the programming of cinemas worldwide. Only in the world of video games you could not really gain a foothold. Publisher Electronic Arts is also rumored to be involved with its own Marvel game.

How do you know about EA’s alleged Marvel game? The rumors about the new EA Marvel game were spread by Nick Baker, a well-known gaming industry insider, in his own XboxEra podcast. Baker revealed that EA is planning to create an all-new gaming IP set in the Marvel Universe. He is not allowed to talk much more about EA’s still secret Marvel project. The podcaster didn’t even say a word about the platforms for which the alleged Marvel game will be released. There was also no further specific information about the release or genre of the game.

How likely is a Marvel game from EA? It seems entirely possible that EA is actually working on a Marvel game. The publisher has tried its hand at projects from similarly powerful brands in recent years. An example would be mentioned here Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.
