FromSoftware: Next title almost ready, more in the works

Hardly any other studio is currently doing as well with fans and the press as FromSoftware. The Japanese developers are involved Elden ring recently made a hot contender for Game of the Year and have enjoyed increased popularity ever since.

Although “Elden Ring” has only been on the market since the end of February, the waiting time seems to be… next title of the studio not too long in coming, like President and Director Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed in an interview.

FromSoftware: New game already on the way

That interview comes from the Japanese magazine 4gamers. here was Miyazaki already visited in 2018 and announced that a total of three games at FromSoftware are in development. One of them was Sekiro: Shadows die twiceanother turned out to be “Elden Ring”.

Asked about the third, still unannounced title, Miyazaki replies:

“Yes, the development is currently in the final stages.”

The information comes as a bit of a surprise, after all, “Elden Ring” has only been on the market for a few months. Apparently we can look forward to one soon announcement be happy. Miyazaki is probably not involved in the project himself.

Elden Ring Gets Official and Massive Guide (Update)

In the next sentence he confirms that he is already working on a new game himself:

“I’m already working on my next title as a director, so I don’t want to give too much away… In the medium to long term, I’d like to work on a more abstract fantasy than anything we’ve done before.”

Whether it is about the developments sequels to already existing brands or whether here at completely new IPs is tinkered, is not to be found in the conversation.

First come DLCs for Elden Ring

Before we enjoy new titles from FromSoftware coming, we can expect new updates for “Elden Ring”. The game will be further developed accordingly. Also bigger Content Enhancements wouldn’t be a big surprise. However, we will have to be patient until there is official information.
