Disney Dreamlight Valley is coming to Early Access

This is behind it: Most of you probably know Early Access from the PC, but the model is also becoming increasingly popular with publishers on consoles. A game in Early Access is considered playable, but not all features, content and/or game modes are included. However, since Disney Dreamlight Valley is Free2Play, it is a live service game that will be regularly updated.

According to Gameloft, the early access phase will last about a year before Dreamlight Valley will be released as version 1.0 over the course of the coming year (via game spot).

Bonus for the Xbox: If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you will receive the Founders Pack for free when Disney Dreamlight Valley is launched. However, the contents of the item package are not yet known.

Other alternatives to Animal Crossing:

This is how the title plays: Dreamlight Valley combines the gameplay of Animal Crossing with the well-known characters from Disney and Pixar. The goal is to restore the eponymous Dreamlight Valley, which has become an inhospitable place since an event called “The Great Oblivion”.

Game mechanics such as building houses or weeding thorn bushes are used. They also fish, cook and take care of the right interior design. We also make friends with Donald, Arielle, Simba and many other characters. In order to collect additional resources, we can also visit the worlds of the respective characters and complete tasks here.
