Sennheiser presents TV Clear: the earphones from audio specialist Sennheiser are specially tailored to this job. According to the manufacturer, the higher frequencies are boosted by up to 20 decibels in order to emphasize dialogue more clearly.
The TV Clear app on the smartphone is responsible for the fine adjustment. The volume can be adjusted independently of that of the TV. However, you are not cut off from others in the room: at the push of a button, the in-ears become acoustically permeable and you can take part in conversations again.
The contact to the TV works via a connectable transmitter and via Bluetooth. Other Bluetooth devices can also be coupled, so that telephone calls or listening to music are also possible with the in-ears. Sennheiser TVClear is available from the manufacturer for 399.99 euros.
