A total of 484 backers gave gifts to the solo developer Gregory Mueller Your trust. The originally requested sum of 15,000 euros was only reached a few days before the end of the campaign, but it was still enough in the final sprint for the first stretch goal of 17,000 euros. Thus, the detective adventure gets an Italian and French text translation in addition to German and English texts.

Thanks to the successful crowdfunding, the developer is now promising four cases, which should have a total playing time of around four hours. Casebook 1899 will be voiced in German and is scheduled to be released for PC and Mac in December 2023. The release on Android and iOS was offered as a stretch goal at 20,000 euros, but this was not achieved.
