Global Challenge Launched – Unlock Hyper Bonus

The Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin has started. Event has a new global challenge for all players. We tell you what it includes.

San Francisco – As Pokémon GO Fest kicks off, a new global challenge awaits players around the world. You must work with other Pokémon GO players to do this. We’ll tell you what you have to do to pass it and what bonuses there are for it.

Pokémon GO Fest: This global challenge is currently taking place

This is the global challenge: You can also take part in the global challenge in Pokémon GO if you don’t travel to Berlin for the event. You must work with trainers around the world to complete the challenge. The entire challenge revolves around Team GO Rocket. Once you have completed the Global Challenge for this event, you will unlock the Hyper Bonus for the Anniversary Event.

You have to complete these tasks in order to pass the challenge:

• Defeat 15,000,000 members of Team GO Rocket
• You have a total of 3413 minutes from 09:00 in the morning to do this.

These rewards await you:

• Double Stardust for defeating Team GO Rocket members for the remainder of the Global Challenge period
• Hyper Bonus: Anniversary Event
• Hyper Bonus: Battle Weekend

The Hyper Bonus also applies to the Pokémon GO Anniversary Event on April 6-12. July and for the Battle Weekend of July 9-10, 2022. Details of the Hyper Bonus will be announced by Niantic one weekday after the end of the event.

Pokémon GO Fest Berlin: This collector’s challenge can be solved worldwide

You have to catch the following Pokémon: During the Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin, exclusive Pokémon will also appear outside of the event, which you must collect in the wild in order to complete the Collector’s Challenge. In total, you have time for this over the entire duration of the event. During the event, these Pokémon will appear more frequently:

• Charmander
• dog pattern
• snailmag
• Magmar
• Camaub
• flashion

These rewards are available for the Collector’s Challenge: Participation in the collection challenge is also worthwhile for you.

• 2022x Stardust
• 2x Sanana Berries
• A special Pokémon appears. (It is not yet clear what this is.)

The global challenge is taking place exclusively during Pokémon GO Fest, which runs from today and the rest of the weekend in Berlin.
