Sorry, you won’t get a new inFamous or Sly Cooper in the foreseeable future

Developer Sucker Punch currently has “no plans” to return to the inFamous and Sly Cooper franchises.

In a new one blog entrywhich addresses the closure of the inFamous 2 servers, the studio also touches on the topic briefly.

“As we focus on our current project, we currently have no plans to revisit inFamous or Sly Cooper, nor are any other studios currently working on projects related to these franchises.”

“These characters are very special and dear to our hearts, so while we would never say never to opening these doors again in the future, there are no inFamous or Sly Cooper games in development at this time. ”

The last part of the inFamous series, inFamous: Second Son, was released in 2014. The last Sly Cooper so far – Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time – was released in 2013 for PS3 and Vita, but was not developed by Sucker Punch.

Most recently, the studio was responsible for the excellent Ghost of Tsushima.
