Streamer is angry: Asmongold wants to stop with Final Fantasy 14

Just recently, the popular streamer Asmongold celebrated its Comeback in the online role-playing game Final Fantasy 14. After a nine-month hiatus, he started streaming Square Enix’s MMO for some time back on his Twitch channel, which made a large part of his fans very happy. But this comeback could be over sooner than expected, because Asmongold is seriously considering one permanent retreat after.

What did Asmongold say?

Asmongold got in touch a few days ago during a live stream had his say and also spoke about his current streaming situation on Twitch, whereby it was mainly about his comeback to Final Fantasy 14 went. Apparently he had imagined this a little differently, because after just a few days a large part of the motivation gone again. Blame it on a not exactly small number of his Viewers: “I don’t want to be in a situation where my stream becomes a Final Fantasy stream again. I don’t want every post on my Reddit to be about Final Fantasy and everything else to be downvoted. I don’t want that people get angry whenever I don’t play Final Fantasy.”

Asmongold went on to describe his Final Fantasy viewers as “very limiting” and “extremely obnoxious”.

He also blames numerous internet trolls for only filling his Reddit with Final Fantasy content. These would bear a large part of the blame for the current situation.
