Amazon Games: New IP from Disruptive Games will be developed with Unreal Engine 5

The new Disruptive Games IP that Amazon Games publishes is being developed with Unreal Engine 5.

In June, Amazon Games announced a publishing agreement with Disruptive Games to develop an online multiplayer action-adventure game.

The Senior Producer job description now reveals some more details about the game and its potential features.

As TopTierList points out, the game could become a first-person shooter with a free-to-play model. Accordingly, the future producer should ideally have knowledge of gameplay mechanics for a monetization system.

The AAA title, based on an original IP, remains fully funded and powered by Unreal Engine 5.

In addition to a multiplayer gaming experience, the new project could also have a single player.

In another advert for a Senior VFX Artist, the responsibilities include working with the Art Director on “Creating Spells, Ambient Effects and Sci-Fi Effects”.

The question remains open as to which platforms the game will be released for. Only the PC seems to be safe when you look at the previous games published by Amazon Games, such as New World or Lost Ark.
