Graphics cards for the small purse: Asus introduces the GTX 1630

Inexpensive 1080p gaming is possible with the new graphics cards from Asus. With the Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630 and the TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 bring the latest chipset.

Cheap gaming GPUs

The two entry-level GPUs are said to be “affordable”, but still have Nvidia’s Turing architecture, 4GB of DDR6 memory and are designed for broad compatibility.

Both have 512 CUDa cores, a boost clock of up to 1815 MHz, a PCIe 3.0 interface and an HDMI, DVI-D and DisplayPort interface each. Of course, there are also differences between the two 1630 models.

The differences are particularly noticeable when it comes to the fans. The miniature Phoenic GeForce GTX 1630 GPU is seven inches long and features a single Axial-Tech fan with dual ball bearings and IP5X dust protection. Two fans “with space-grade lubricant” adorn the slightly larger TUF variant of the GPU.

A single fan is available to you in the Phoenix variant. In the cover picture you can see the TUF version.

Both models should be available in the DACH region with immediate effect. Asus did not specify the exact price in its press release. A nasty surprise shouldn’t wait for you, because the company calls both cards cheap.
