In Hypercharge for Xbox, we’re throwing action figures at each other, and the game is getting a lot of hype right now

Hypercharge sends us into battle as game characters and the indie title is to be released for the Xbox.

Anyone who played with action figures as a child should be happy about Hypercharge. The indie game is currently enjoying considerable hype and that can be explained very easily: it makes childhood dreams come true with its very simple gameplay. We choose an action figure, peel ourselves out of the box and jump into the fray. The whole thing offers PvP, co-op, split-screen and much more and is scheduled for release on Xbox.

What is Hypercharge Unboxed and why is it enjoying such hype?

That’s what it’s about: Hypercharge is being developed by a very small team, but it already looks pretty impressive. Above all, the indie game relies on an ingeniously simple game principle, which is used in Toy Story and Co. We simply control action figures and engage in battles against each other, for example in a toy store.

If, for some reason, you are still not convinced, let me tell you what the developers want to build into their game. You will not only be able to use different weapons with the different characters, but also, for example, rely on certain skills.

Xbox release announced: On top of all that, the people behind Hypercharge have apparently already struck a deal with Mixrosoft’s Xbox. Exactly what that will look like is not yet known, but there’s a good chance you’ll be able to play Hypercharge in Game Pass at some point.
