Pokémon GO: Anniversary Event Starts Tomorrow – All Shinys and Hyper Bonus Content

On July 6th, 2022, Pokémon GO is celebrating its birthday and is therefore throwing an anniversary event for you. We at MeinMMO have looked at what spawns and shinys you can look forward to and what content you have earned as part of the hyper bonus.

What kind of event is it? Pokémon GO celebrates its 6th birthday on July 6th and of course it has to be celebrated in the game. For this reason, a week-long anniversary event is starting in Pokémon GO.

There are again numerous spawns, shinys and bonuses. In addition, during the GO Fest in Berlin you earned additional special features for the anniversary event as part of the hyper bonus. The anniversary event includes the following highlights:

• new costumed Pokemon
• Grillmak celebrates its shiny debut
• Unown E appears in raids
• fight weekend

When does the anniversary event take place? The Anniversary Event runs from July 06, 2022 at 10:00 local time to July 12, 2022 at 20:00 local time.

All Spawns and Shinys for the Anniversary Event

During the anniversary event, you can again encounter numerous Pokémon that can be found in the wild and in raids. Of course, the costumed monsters should not be missing on such an occasion, which is why you can catch Pikachu with a cake costume as well as Charmander, Glutexo and Charizard with a party hat.

The shimmering form of Grillmak also celebrates its global debut in the game thanks to the Hyper Bonus earned. You can also encounter Unown E in raids. We have summarized below where you can find which Pokémon.

Not new, but incredibly rare is Unown. This only spawns occasionally in the wild or at certain events. By earning the Hyper Bonus, you can now find Unown E in the raids.

If you are still missing this form of the rare Pokémon, you have the chance to secure a copy. With a bit of luck you might even come across a Shiny.

Part of the anniversary event is also a kind of mini-event in the form of a battle weekend. This takes place both in the GO Battle League and around Team GO Rocket. When is Fight Weekend?

The Battle Weekend runs from July 09, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. local time to July 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. local time. Are there special bonuses?
