Diablo Immortal: Level to Level 60 – Battle Pass Season 2
The first major content patch for Diablo Immortal with Battle Pass Season 2 has been live since June 7, 2022. Players who have been with the game since launch may want to take advantage of the start of the season to start an alternate character, and newcomers are looking for a quick start into Blizzard’s latest Diablo game. For both of them, we have a few useful tips below on how to quickly reach the maximum level!
Tip 1: Do not clear zones completely
Source: Blizzard
An old Hult for Action RPG veterans, this tip is very important for new players: you don’t have to kill every monster in every zone! While this is required for certain quests or in dungeons, in outdoor areas you can just run from point A to point B and kill any monsters that come your way – in terms of experience, you’ll still easily stay on the campaign’s XP curve.
Tip 2: Draw monsters together before you kill them
You should always try to group mobs by kiting before fighting them. Wait until a few groups are chasing you, then use your area of effect abilities to take them all down quickly. This is not only more efficient, but also grants more of the so-called Massacre XP bonuses, which increase the more monsters you kill in a row without stopping. However, keep in mind that the number of monsters you can take on at once depends on your class’s abilities and the build you choose – dying will definitely slow you down more than inefficient combat.
Tip 3: Don’t spend too much gold on equipment upgrades
In Diablo Immortal (buy now ) you can improve rare and legendary equipment at the blacksmith in every city. This is usually a good way to get a performance boost, as upgraded rare items will quickly outperform magic item gear scores. However, these upgrades cost gold and materials, and leveling will constantly drop new gear that outperforms your old upgraded one. Thankfully, you can transfer upgrade ranks to new items within the same slot. So if you find a new item with a higher gear score or better stats, instead of wasting time and materials upgrading it, you simply transfer the current upgrade rank to the new item.
Tip 4: Play story dungeons in a group
During the Diablo Immortal campaign, you must navigate through multiple instanced dungeons that can be completed solo or in a group. For example, if you’ve already played Lost Ark, you’ll probably spontaneously decide to complete these dungeons alone to avoid waiting for party members. However, Diablo Immortal grants an XP bonus for completing these dungeons in a party, and it takes little longer than a solo runthrough.
Tip 5: Claim Battle Pass tiers as soon as you reach a level gate
Source: Buffed
The free ones Diablo Immortal Battle Pass level ups through the completion of activities (see the Battle Pass tab) are actually one of the best sources of XP in the game. However, there is a trick to further optimize your Battle Pass XP gains. The amount of XP you earn from Battle Pass rewards scales with your character level. So it’s more efficient to wait until you reach a level gate, which occurs around level 30 during the campaign, to claim Battle Points and Battle Pass rewards.
Tip 6: Complete up to eight bounties per day
Bounties are diligent quests that will be familiar to Diablo 3 and MMO players. Typically, bounties will ask you to kill a certain number of a monster type or complete a dungeon. You can claim up to eight bounties per day from the Bounty Board in Westmarch and earn Battle Points for completing them. While bounties can sometimes take quite a long time, especially when there is a lot of competition from other players, the XP rewards are substantial, which definitely makes them worthwhile.
Tip 7: Farm repeatable dungeons with a group
Replaying dungeons you’ve already completed earlier in the campaign can grant daily Battle Point rewards or gain progress towards bounty completions. Otherwise, dungeons offer a good amount of XP as well. If you have a few friends to play with and can clear dungeons quickly, speed farming dungeons is a good way to gain experience quickly.
Tip 8: Farm Elder Portals with a group
In addition to Legendary Gems (when using Emblems), Elder Portals also reward a decent amount of experience upon completion. However, to be efficient, they must be cleared quickly. If you have a group at hand, you should also use this option to level up faster. — (source).
