Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: All locations are preserved – with a twist

Final Fantasy VII Remake go with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth into the second round. The game is scheduled to be released next year. And overall it will three remake partsas we now know.

But lately we’ve been wondering how things could continue in Rebirth and, above all, where the game endsbefore Square Enix starts with the third part.

Final Fantasy 7 RemakeFinal Fantasy VII Rebirth: where exactly does part 2 end? How far does the story go?

Now, thanks to an interview Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase conducted with the Famitsu, one more thing has been revealed: no places are deleted from the original. They have now officially confirmed this.

All locations will remain in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Remake Part 3

What does this mean for the remake trilogy? It means that all the places we have in the original seen and entered will also be made accessible in the remake trilogy.

The whole thing has one though small hook. There is a small change regarding the locations.

The structure, when and how we these individual visited towns, is broken up a little. Means that we won’t necessarily see them in the order that was the case in the original.

This sounds more like a side note at first, but it can change the narrative significantly in relation to the original. Make it worse, better, as the case may be.

But of course, apart from the chronological order, it’s good to know that we like all those legendary places Kalm, Nibelheim or even Gold Saucer in the new face for the next generation of consoles.

I strongly assume that Wutai a bigger role in the remake trilogy. Basically, this is already the case when we Episode with Yuffie regard. After all, was with Sonon Kusakabe another legendary fighter from the city is introduced and we get to look behind the facade of the thieving ninja magpie.

But what does a larger role actually mean? Oh well. If we take a closer look, this basically very powerful and important faction plays a subordinate role in the original. After all, it’s possible to complete the game entirely without even encountering Yuffie — or even entering Wutai once.

That could change in the remake trilogy, and almost certainly will.
