Pokémon GO: Team GO Rocket Battle Weekend Starts Tomorrow – All Bonuses & New Crypto

A special Battle Weekend will take place in Pokémon GO on July 9th and 10th, 2022. You can look forward to numerous encounters with Team GO Rocket, new Crypto Pokémon and cool bonuses in the GO Battle League. We at MeinMMO have summarized all the content of the mini-event for you.

What is this event? Pokémon GO is currently celebrating its 6th birthday and is therefore throwing an anniversary event. Part of this event is the so-called Battle Weekend.

This revolves around Team GO Rocket and the GO Battle League. But you can also benefit from one or the other bonus in raids. We have summarized all the special features of the fight weekend for you below.

When is Fight Weekend? The Battle Weekend starts on July 09, 2022 at 00:00 local time and runs until July 10, 2022 at 23:59. So you have two full days to use the event content.

All Team GO Rocket Battle Weekend bonuses

The highlight of the event will be the return of Rocket leader Giovanni. Many players have been waiting for this for a while. By reaching the hyper bonus during the GO Fest in Berlin, you could earn additional bonuses or improve the planned ones again.

• Special research on Giovanni
  • Reward: Super Rocket Radar
• Rocket balloons come every 2 hours
• 2 mystery pieces if you win against Rocket Grunts

All GO Battle League Battle Weekend Bonuses

If you prefer to be in the GO Battle League, you can also look forward to one or the other bonus there at the weekend. The following special features await you:

• 20 battle sets (100 battles) per day
• 5x Stardust when you win battles
• At Rank 16, you get a chance to encounter Legendary Pokémon

In which leagues can you play? During the Battle Weekend, you can compete against other Trainers in the GO Battle League in the following leagues:

• super league
• hyperleague
• master league

You need to know: When choosing your teams, note that depending on the league, the monsters may only have a maximum number of CPs. Only Pokémon up to 1,500 WP are allowed in the super league and up to 2,500 WP in the hyper league. In the master league there is no upper limit.

More Battle Weekend bonuses

In addition to the bonuses for Team GO Rocket and in the GO Battle League, the Battle Weekend also has other special features in store for you:

• one more free raid pass per day
• double XP when you win a raid
• Event attacks when evolving certain monsters

Which monsters get an event attack when evolving? When you evolve the starter Pokémon of the first 5 generations of the game, they get an event attack. They have already been able to learn this at other events in the past, such as the Community Day.
