Satisfactory: New patch for update 6

from Michael Miskulin
Update 6 for the factory building game Satisfactory has received a new patch with a number of bug fixes for the Experimental server.

Coffee Stain Studios continues work on Update 6 for the factory building game Satisfactory. While players can already try the update on the Experimental server, the developers have released a new patch (v0.6.0.7) for Update 6. We briefly present the changes.

Patch v0.6.0.7 for Update 6: bug fixes and translations

In an official Steam post, the Satisfactory developers have listed the contents of the new patch. After the creature spawners were redesigned in a previous patch, there seemed to be an increase in random crashes or creature freezes on the Experimental server. The developers were able to get to the bottom of a few cases, allowing for potential bug fixes for creature-related crashes. In addition, bug fixes for freezing could be found. Also fixed a bug where drones would fly through cliffs or similar terrain. Furthermore, the developers have updated all available languages in the game with the latest translations.

Among the known bugs, the team lists the bug where foliage is unpickable on the dedicated servers. As a workaround, the developers suggest restarting the server and logging in again. Alternatively, if you move far enough from the spawn point, the foliage will become pickable again. The developers also explain that “Resource Wells” and “Satellite Nodes” have some errors or do not work at all. Extractors placed on it will not work correctly and only give out nuclear waste instead of the intended resource.
