Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown: New trailer again without gameplay

Even doubters had hoped for a gameplay reveal of the open-world racer as part of Nacon Connect 22, but again there were only scenes that hardly have anything to do with the game.

As early as next year there will be another offshoot of the racing game series, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, which is set in an open game world. So far, apart from the bland announcement trailer, there has been no further information or gameplay material that would provide an insight into the look, functions and scope.

Just ramblings, no gameplay

Many fans rightly assumed that the Nacon Connect could offer the perfect stage to clear up the many question marks surrounding the new Test Drive Unlimited. The fact that the frenzy takes place on Hong Kong Island was already communicated in advance, instead of real gameplay there were unfortunately only vague descriptions of what the players expected.

That all sounded very suspiciously like Forza Horizon, whether the quality of the template can even remotely be reached is doubtful. The doubts are also fueled by the fact that only CGI scraps and a very short, absolutely irrelevant trailer were shown at the end of the presentation.

Since the release of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is estimated to take place in autumn 2023, a gameplay-free presentation at this point is certainly a little more than just unusual.
