Captain America 4: Marvel chose this director
Marvel is currently releasing one film after the other. So it’s not that long ago that Doctor Strange appeared in the Multiverse of Madness and they’re already doing more. Thor: Love and Thunder also started in German cinemas this week. Unfortunately, the Marvel blockbuster failed in our criticism not really convincing. One can only hope that Marvel Studios is there with captainamerica 4 do better. In any case, the director is certain.
Julius Onah is set to direct Captain America 4
Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah is probably best known for his work on the sci-fi thriller The Cloverfield Paradox known from 2018. Now he’s turning to the superhero genre. The fourth part of the Captain America saga follows on from the Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Solider.
After formally declaring his retirement as Captain America, Steve Rogers surrendered his shield Sam Wilson. In the future, he will no longer appear as The Falcon, but as Cap himself. After finally accepting his fate at the end of the first season. The “new” Captain America is played by Anthony Mackie. It is unclear whether Chris Evans when Steve Roggers will appear in Captain America 4. That’s not likely, however, as Evans recently said in an interview that the role no longer belongs to him.
When is Captain America 4 set?
The Marvel flick will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Wandavision. Details of the plot are still largely kept under wraps. The only information comes from producer Nate Moore, who spoke about it last November “[Sam Wilson] You want to put him in front of seemingly unsolvable challenges and see how he masters them. A current release period for the blockbuster is not known, but it should not before 2024 to be expected.
