F1 22: Update 1.05 rolled out with fixes and improvements

Update 1.05 with fixes and improvements for F1 22 has now been rolled out for PC and PlayStation.

It’s time to make a pit stop in F1 22. Because Codemasters has released update 1.05 on all platforms.

Formula One fans can look forward to a number of improvements and fixes for the current installment in the racing game series.

Among other things, the wear on the motor has been reduced, an incorrect collision query on Jeddah has been fixed, and an error about a too low frame rate when using Fanatec Load Cell pedals has been corrected.

Update 1.05 Patch Notes

General

  • Reduced engine wear to make aggressive downshifts or excessive revving less punishable.
  • Fixed incorrect turn 1 collision detection on Jeddah.
  • Virtual Rearview Mirror setting is now applied correctly.
  • Characters on the podium are now displayed correctly.
  • HUD elements now display correctly in split screen races.
  • Fixed an issue where the team badge could be displayed incorrectly in My Team after a race weekend.
  • Items from Loyalty Packs are now displayed correctly in the user’s inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where using Fanatec Load Cell pedals would result in reduced refresh rates.
  • Updated the durability stats of engine builders in My Team (does not affect careers already started).
  • The amount of fuel for sprint events in Bahrain F1® was updated.
  • Supercar replays no longer show rain inside the car itself.
  • Fixed an issue where the race engineer would mention a component issue only to immediately announce that it was fixed.
  • Adaptive triggers now have the correct resistance value on PC.
  • Fixed an issue where AI drivers would sometimes brake on flying laps to avoid overtaking a vehicle that would let them pass.
  • Fixed an issue where exiting qualifying 1 or 2 would immediately start race day even though there was still time left for the next session.
  • Fixed a crash issue that could occur when entering an existing Friendly Race lobby.
  • Sponsors can now be properly attached to the player car.
  • General stability improvements.
  • A number of minor bug fixes.

On-line

  • Fixed a crash issue when entering an existing multiplayer lobby.
  • Fixed an issue where starting lineup options could no longer be changed in multiplayer lobbies.

VR

  • Improved performance when running companion screen in full screen mode.
  • Fixed unwanted head movement when braking or accelerating.

Hints
