30 free games on Prime Day: Star Wars, Mass Effect Legendary, Grid Legends and more

Watch out, there are free games up for grabs again – at least for everyone who already has an Amazon Prime subscription. Prime Gaming now has plenty of games for free, including highlights like Mass Effect and Grid Legends.

As part of this offer day are a total of 30 free games on Prime, not all of which are new to the catalogue. But these six do:

New free highlights at Prime Gaming

There is a lot especially for friends of sci-fi, space and co. First there is the popular Mass Effect trilogy about spaceship commander Shepard. You can do that in the prettied one Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Origin, which was released in 2021 and was eagerly awaited by numerous fans.

Also are Star Wars Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy and the second part Star Wars Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast such as Star Wars Republic Commando from George Lucas’ famous blockbuster universe available for free.

There is also something for fans of speed: currently there are both GRID Legends as well as Need for Speed: Heat for the virtual smell of hot asphalt for free.

What else is free at Prime Gaming?

However, some older games or niche titles were already available for free on Prime. This includes, for example, Metal Slug 2, the retro brawler King of Fighters 2002 or the humorous point and click Darkside Detective.

If you haven’t gotten these yet, you should grab them quickly: Most of the free games will disappear from the catalog tomorrow.

Overall, it’s worth browsing through the free catalogue, because in addition to the 30 games that are only available for a short time, a few other titles are still available.
