Diablo 3: Season 27 and Season Journey – Guide with all information!

It’s that time again: The Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Patch 2.7.4 will soon continue with the next Ladder season. This season brings the Angelic Crucible, a new type of consumable. Start and duration of the 27th season in Diablo 3

Season 27 was scheduled to start in early August 2022; the PTR test is currently running. The associated patch 2.7.4 will be released shortly before. Season 27 introduces a new type of consumable called Angelic Crucible a. Once discovered by Nephalem, these celestial artifacts can be used to anoint any equippable legendary item. Dedicating an item reforges it so that it gains perfect “ancient” stats on all affixes while preserving the item’s legendary power. • Angelic Crucible and Sanctified Items can only be acquired in seasonal play and will not transfer to your non-seasonal character when the season ends.
• Angelic Crucibles can drop anywhere in Sanctuary at level 70.
• Players can obtain as many sacred items as they wish, however only one sacred item can be equipped at a time.
• Sanctified items can be re-sanctified with a different Angelic Crucible.
• Dedicating an item does not retain any stats.
• Only level 70 equippable items can be sanctified – crafted items cannot be sanctified.
• Pets cannot equip sacred items.

The structure of the seasons in Diablo 3

• The seasons and season journey have been completely restructured with Reaper of Souls Patch 2.4.x and include no exclusive seasonal Legendaries more.
• Completing certain Season Journey tasks has been granting since patch 2.4 an additional rider in the loot chest.
