Destiny 2 now lets you forge your own god-roll with new armor for the 2022 Solstice event

The Solstice Event 2022 starts next week in Destiny 2. Bungie has therefore leaked more information about what the players will expect there. One piece of information that is particularly interesting for every player is the new armor options. You can forge this yourself into a God-Roll and we’ll show you how it will work.

When does the 2022 Solstice event start? The 2022 Solstice event will take place on July 19 after the Weekly reset. Bungie will also be doing an extended downtime that day, which will bring the update and some fixes.

The update will bring back the European Air Zone and a leaked horde mode where you have to build a campfire. We have listed all the important leaks for the event here.

But the most important thing is the new armor that you can earn for the 2022 event. In 2022, she doesn’t just have a special look. It can also be specifically adjusted to the armor values ​​you want.

New armor can be sculpted by you

How does the new armor work? As usual, you will also receive armor to be upgraded this time. It is then your task to ennoble them through your efforts. So to increase their rarity, you need to complete Solstice Event Challenges.

These degrees then give you “Kindlings” that you can insert into your still miserable armor. By inserting your armor increases in value. If you have done this often enough, you will receive values ​​on the armor.

In order to affect the stats now and forge your god roll, you have to socket the item “Silver Ashes” in your refined armor. You can get these ashes by earning “Silver Leaves” in various activities. To turn these leaves to ashes, all you have to do is play the new activity, Campfire Party.

Finally, with the ashes, you can choose from various “sparks” and determine your own stat bonus. By using the ashes, your stats will be rerolled, but with the stat focus you have chosen.

So there is no guarantee that you will get a god roll, but the new system gives you the chance to take your luck into your own hands.

Who is the armor for? For any player who is still looking for their last piece of God Roll armor or does not yet own one. With this mechanic, you can somewhat influence which stats should drop with higher values. This is also interesting for players who want to specifically push a few values ​​of their armor.

If you’re lucky, you might even get armor that’s good enough to boost three stats to their max level of 100. Basically, it’s worth participating in the event if you’re keen on the best stats for your armor.
