Stray: That's how small the cat game is on the PS4 and PS5

Stray will be released on July 19th for PS4, PS5 and PC. However, it was not yet known how much space the cute cat would take up on the devices. The file size for the two PlayStation platforms is now circulating on Twitter.

Small as a kitten

Cats are not particularly large and often manage to squeeze through narrow gaps. Appropriately, Stray doesn’t take up a lot of storage space on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

As announced by PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, Stray will be 13,352GB on the PS4, while the PS5 version will take up even less space at 7,514GB. People with slower internet don’t have to wait that long for the download.

You can buy Stray from July 19th or just try it out as part of the PS Plus and PS Extra offer. A physical version won’t come until September. Don’t know what Stray is about? We explain it briefly.

In Stray you control a stray cat trying to return to her family. The open world is not populated by people, but by robots – this is a bit reminiscent of an episode from the Netflix series Love, Death and Robots. The whole thing takes place in the third-person perspective. On your way you explore the gloomy world from a cat’s perspective and solve puzzles.
