Community Day July 2022 today – how to take full advantage of the Staralili event

The next Pokémon GO Community Day is on July 17th. Staralili is the focus this time. There will also be ten German Meetups.

San Francisco – Each month, Pokémon GO hosts Community Day, an event that showcases a different Pokémon each month. As the name suggests, Community Day is actually intended to bring the player community together. In July 2022, Niantic has therefore planned ten German Meetups for Community Day with Staralili.

Pokémon GO: Community Day in July 2022 – everything about the time and bonuses at a glance

Then the event runs: There are numerous events in July 2022 in Pokémon GO – including, of course, Community Day with Staralili on July 17, 2022. Similar to the Pokémon GO spotlight hours in July 2022, a Pokémon will also be in focus on Community Day. In contrast to the limelight hour, the monthly event runs not just one, but at least three hours. Trainers can participate in the event for as long as:

• Begin: Sunday, July 17, 11 a.m
• End: Sunday, June 17, 2 p.m

There are these bonuses: During the Pokémon GO Community Day, there are always a lot of bonuses for players, so that all trainers can collect enough candies. In addition, there is a triple amount of catch XP and also a group bonus for the event with Staralili. All bonuses at a glance:

• Triple Catch EXP
• Double the chance of XL Candy
• Lure modules and smoke last 3 hours
• 5 surprise snapshots
• Additional special exchange from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m
• Trading costs 50% less Stardust from 11am to 7pm
• Group Bonus: 30 minutes x4 Catch EXP if enough Pokémon are caught with the Lure Module activated
• Tier 4 Bonus Raid Battles starting at 2pm

Bonus Raid Battles: From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., trainers can then take part in special raid battles: Staravia, the evolution of Staralili, appears in tier 4 raids. Whoever manages to defeat Stararavia in the raid will face Staralili for 30 minutes after the battle in the arena area. So if you don’t have time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to participate in the Pokémon GO Community Day, you can simply defeat a Staravia raid.

However, there is a catch: Remote Raid Passes cannot be used. So you can only fight the raid battles with Staravia with a normal raid pass or a premium raid pass.

Pokémon GO: Community Day in July 2022 – Staraptor learns this exclusive attack

Community Day Exclusive Attack: Of course, Staralili will also get an exclusive attack for the Pokémon GO Community Day in July 2022. If you evolve your Staralili to Staravia and then Staraptor between 11am and 7pm, it will learn the Exclusive Attack. If you catch a Staravia in a bonus raid, it will of course also learn the exclusive attack if you develop it into Staraptor by 7 p.m.

• Prime Attack: Gust of Wind
• Trainer Battles: 16 damage
• Arena and Raid Battles: 25 damage

The Pokemon GO Community Day Staralili exclusive move is Wind Burst and a Flying Attack. Apparently, the attack also does quite a bit of damage, so maybe this makes Staraptor a good flying attacker. Gamepress even classifies Staraptor as a level 2 attacker in its Pokémon GO tier list. So if you don’t have a good flying attacker yet, don’t miss out on Pokémon GO Community Day in July.

Pokémon GO: Community Day in July 2022 – is there Shiny Staralili?

Shiny Starali: You can also catch Shiny Staralili for Pokémon GO Community Day in July 2022. You can recognize this by the brown color. Usually Staralili is more gray-black, similar to a small pigeon.

Staravia can also be recognized by their brownish color instead of gray. With Staraptor, it is probably the easiest to recognize the Shiny in Pokémon GO: The body has a brown and white coloration with a light blue tip of the head. The common Staraptor, on the other hand, is black and white with a red tip on its head. The chances of Shinys are increased for Pokémon GO Community Day, so you should take advantage of the event if you are still missing Shiny Staralili.

Pokémon GO: Community Day in July 2022 – Meetups will be held in these cities

Community Day Meetups: Niantic, based in San Francisco, has been trying to get Pokémon GO trainers outside to play for quite some time. Therefore, there have not only been some nerfs to items such as smoke or long-distance raid passes in recent months, but the developer is also organizing regional live events again. The Pokémon GO Fest took place in Berlin and there are two other dates in Sapporo, Japan and Seattle, USA.

For the Pokémon GO Community Day in July 2022 there will also be live events in the form of meetups in ten German cities. Players can meet there and fight raid battles together, trade Pokémon and of course explore the area.
