AC Valhalla: The next free DLC with new content is coming very soon

AC Valhalla isn’t letting fans down, and there’s bound to be new content coming soon.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla never ends. As promised, Ubisoft continues to support the Open World RPG with new content. The next ones will probably come in the form of the Niflheim DLC and it could be released in two weeks. This is even based on some official statements and therefore seems very likely. But there are also a lot of leaks that could already reveal what awaits us in it.

AC Valhalla: When is the Niflheim DLC coming?

Probably soon: As the AC Valhalla post launch producer Jose Araiza explains in an interview, the Niflheim DLC aka the Forgotten Saga DLC should appear with the update after next. This conversation took place before Update 1.5.3, which has since been released. That means patch 1.6.0 will most likely bring the new content (via: JorRaptor).

Already on August 2nd? If the current rhythm does not change, the upcoming update 1.6.0 should be released on August 2nd, 2022 – five weeks after update 1.5.3. The new free DLC should also appear on this day when the new season begins.

How about the playing time? Those who are well practiced should be able to play through the Niflheim DLC in three to four hours. Casual players and completionists can aim for closer to six to seven hours, explains Jose Araiza.

What’s in it, what content does the Forgotten Saga DLC bring?

Not one, but 4 open worlds? According to some new leaks, we are supposed to be served four small open worlds in the new Niflheim DLC. At the same time, there is talk of six different regions, for which pictures have already been published. These four areas are said to have already been leaked:

• “Dark”
• “Fog”
• “hel”

Each of these regions should also have a kind of house and boss fights could take place there. The four worlds are probably connected to each other with a kind of bridge. A symbol has already been discovered for them.

Gameplay innovations: The Niflheim DLC could be very different from the rest of the game in that it relies on roguelite elements, complete with a randomized starting point and run counter.
